Beddgelert is a good base for walkers and railway enthusiasts alike, with the Welsh Highland Railway running nearby and the Aberglaslyn Pass offering some of the best low-level walking in Snowdonia. Cycling routes and fishing spots are within easy reach too, and the village itself has pubs, restaurants and other places to eat within walking distance. The Coach House sits right in the middle of all this, giving guests a straightforward starting point for exploring the surrounding hills and valleys.

The property has four rooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom, and family rooms are available for those travelling with children. Mountain views can be enjoyed from parts of the property, and there's a garden for relaxing after a day on the trails. Breakfast is included, free WiFi is available throughout, and reception operates around the clock, which suits guests arriving after a long walk or a late train.

There's no parking on site, so anyone travelling by car should plan accordingly, but Beddgelert's compact size means most things are reachable on foot regardless. Over two floors, the building keeps things simple and unfussy - a cosy village stopover rather than a destination in itself, with Snowdonia's watersports, entertainment and outdoor pursuits all close at hand.
