About The Waterfront Hotel Spa and Golf
With 103 rooms, The Waterfront Hotel Spa and Golf is a sizeable property on Great North Road in Bedford, built around its own spa and leisure facilities rather than just a bed for the night. Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and drinks in room, with family rooms available for those travelling with children and a bridal suite for wedding parties, as the hotel also operates as a wedding venue with VIP facilities on request.
Guests have access to an indoor swimming pool, gym and spa or sauna on-site, along with a restaurant, bar and outdoor seating in the garden. Breakfast and kids' meals are available, and room service covers those who'd rather not leave their room. Meeting rooms and concierge services are on hand for business visitors, and free on-site parking is provided for everyone.
Beyond the hotel itself, a golf course is nearby, along with fishing and watersports for those wanting to make use of the riverside setting. Further afield there are pubs, bars and restaurants for evenings out, plus entertainment options in the area, making it a reasonably well-rounded base for a stay in Bedford.
