About Verve Hotel
Verve Hotel occupies a modest, purpose-built setting on Shakespeare Road in Bedford, the kind of place built for practicality rather than grandeur. It's a comfortable base rather than a destination in itself, with en-suite bedrooms that are kept clean and tidy, though some are on the compact side, so it suits guests who don't need sprawling space.
The on-site restaurant serves Thai food that stands out from the usual hotel menu, alongside a bar for evening drinks and breakfast to start the day. Other conveniences include room service, drinks brought to your door, accessible rooms, free WiFi, and free on-site parking, useful for anyone arriving by car. The hotel also hosts weddings, and staff are consistently described as friendly and accommodating, giving the place a warm, welcoming feel.
Bedford (Midland) station is under a mile away, making onward travel straightforward, and Billing Aquadrome offers a nearby point of interest for a day out. Golf, horse riding, entertainment venues and further restaurants are all within reach of the area too.

What guests say
Staff are friendly. Rooms are clean and well appointed. Food is absolutely delicious with a choice of English or Thai dishes and very good prices. Decor is fabulous. Easy access from main route in. Only reason can't give 5 stars is the limited car parking particularly if you have a large vehicle

Rock and roll styled hotel. If that's the correct phrase! Anyway, I mostly liked it. Was difficult to enter the place until you've actually checked in. The staff are very friendly, happy and helpful. I had a single room which was on the small side. But had everything you'd need for a short stay. Shower was very powerful, always a bonus.

I was extremely happy with my stay. I was there for my daughter's wedding and so did not partake of any meals. I stayed for 2 nights and was really surprised that after only one night, the room was cleaned, bed made, restocked with coffee etc and fresh towels. The room was lovely with ensuite, it was a lovely little hotel and the reason I chose it was because as a single traveller it was actually the cheapest. I would definitely stay there again if I stayed over in Bedford again.
