Wayside Lodge

Wayside Lodge works well for couples or small families wanting a coastal break with a difference. The entire property is yours alone: two bedrooms with king beds, a shower room, and an open-plan living and dining space on ground level. Everything needed for self-catering is here, including wifi, heating, bed linen and towels. The kitchen has an electric hob, combi oven and microwave, dishwasher and fridge, so you can cook as much or as little as you choose.

The real focus is the private hot tub in the front garden, sheltered and covered, with seating and garden furniture nearby. Parking is provided for two cars. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. The lodge doesn't allow smoking.

Within a ten-minute drive you'll reach Blackpool and the Fylde Coast proper—Lytham and St Annes are close by. This puts you near Blackpool Tower, the Pleasure Beach, Sandcastle Water Park and various golf courses, plus the restaurants and events the area is known for. But the lodge itself is set back and quiet, giving you the choice between exploration and staying put.
