About Hawkes Hotel
Hawkes Hotel suits travellers after a straightforward, affordable stay near the middle of Blackpool rather than a polished retreat. It works well for families on a seaside break, groups visiting the attractions, or anyone who just wants somewhere simple to sleep between days out, with parking on site and the Tower and Pleasure Beach both within easy reach.
Rooms are basic but come with en-suite bathrooms, free WiFi and drinks in the room, and family rooms are available for those travelling with children. A full breakfast is served each morning, with packed lunches and kids' meals also on offer, and there's a bar and outdoor seating for the evening. Guests have use of a games room and an on-site gym, plus practical extras like luggage storage, room service and a laundry service. Pets are welcome, and the hotel also has meeting rooms and business services for those combining leisure with work.
Beyond the hotel, the local area covers most tastes, with golf, fishing, cycling and walking routes nearby, along with watersports, pubs, restaurants and entertainment. It's a fair fit for anyone wanting a central Blackpool base without expecting anything more than the essentials.

Massive safety and cleanliness issues. Dirty rooms, reused bedding covered in body fluids, drunk argument and shouting... Came to check in, a drunken guest who is living there tried to deal with us. He video called the landlady who lives in Birmingham, they were having arguments over the phone he was swearing. Room was disgusting, literally drool puddles all over the bedding, crumbs and stains in the bed. Dust everywhere. A used towels thrown on the shower. He's a guest and yet knows the codes to all the rooms! He then had a massive drunken argument with his misses next door to our room threatening each other. We left, the landlady refused to refund us any money! Claiming back through the card issuer.

We had a fantastic stay at The Hawkes Hotel in Blackpool. The hotel was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The rooms were cosy and nicely presented, making it a perfect place to relax after a day exploring the seafront and local attractions. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, creating a warm and pleasant atmosphere throughout the stay. The location is excellent — close to the promenade and within easy reach of everything Blackpool has to offer. Overall, a wonderful experience and great value for money. I would highly recommend The Hawkes Hotel to anyone visiting Blackpool and would happily stay again.

SCAM HOTEL AVOID!! I don’t know what is going on with this hotel…but save yourself time and money and do not book. We booked for 1 night at £80 2 adults and one child… we used one of the popular booking websites which stated the hotel name as the “Dora Hotel” same address, opening times ect… to then turn up to a total different company stated to that address “Hawkes Hotel”… we went into the hotel address and explained that we have a booking with the Dora hotel and the man at reception couldn’t care less, wasn’t helpful. The only thing he said was that the Dora hotel shut on Wednesday and now the Hawkes Hotel has took over from that same day?? So we kindly asked if there’s any availability as we travelled quite a bit and the response came with an attitude and rudeness saying “we aren’t taking bookings”… now doing some research after all of this there’s clearly proof that the Hawkes Hotel has been existing for a couple of months now so I don’t know what that was from reception and people where coming in and out with suitcases ect but saying you’ve just opened since Wednesday as that’s when the Dora Hotel shut… it doesn’t add up. So late at night we decided to travel back home arriving back at 2am again with a child… but with now reading all the reviews regarding “BOTH” hotels, I am glad that the booking never went ahead…clearly a scam taking my money and I’m STILL waiting on my refund… after phoning a random number linked to the address to some guy who never had a clue and I’ve not heard anything back from the “Investigation” that needs to happen… clearly pushing it under the carpet… AVOID!!!!!

Booked a comfort double room (With en suite) for myself and my partner. I also added breakfast as part of our stay. As this was a surprise weekend for myself and my partner I had requested if they do anything romantic that would be greatly appreciated, but if not then it doesn't matter. Upon arrival into the bedroom my expectations had been blown out of the water, the room was very well presented and they truly went above and beyond for my request (See picture). The staff were all very pleasant and professional, this helped make our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast was also another highlight, huge selection ranging from a delicious cooked breakfast to a selection of cereals. Massive thanks to all the staff (Especially the manager for making sure our stay was exceptional), it was greatly appreciated and we will be back soon!
