Silver Strand Hotel

This is a work in progress, if u read reviews, it is not like this now, rooms are getting decorated, when vacant and money is available, the beds are all brand new. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, its like coming to a friend's home. They go above and beyond. The new owners are working day and night to make this a nice decent place. Reading the old reviews they need updating to new owners... not 5 star but definitely better than most I have stayed at. If you want a homely feeling, I definitely recommend x thank you to Kirsty and Sterling. Xx definitely use again xx

Stayed here with my little girl for the night. Location is amazing, few minutes walk to beach, promenade, Arcades, pleasure beach, waterpark and food places. Mcdonalds 5min walk away and wetherspoons ideal with kids. Rooms are basic but great for getting head down for night as we was out all day. Come with en suite bathroom, kettle, tea sugar milk etc. Kirsty the manager and her partner was so welcoming, friendly and hardworking, they have a bar, snooker table. Sweet dispensers for kids. Overall id return. For a budget hotel honestly can't go wrong! Place was absolutely spotless, could do with updating abit but that doesn't affect overall experience. Really appreciated our stay thank you will be back when we return to Blackpool!

Extremely poor and concerning experience at MyRoomz Silver Strand Hotel in Blackpool. I booked and paid £140 cash for a week’s stay for me and my girlfriend. On the first night we had a verbal argument, and staff told us we would be placed in separate rooms and reassured me that she was “safe and sound.” I was also told not to go to her room. Shortly after this, without my knowledge, she was told she had 5 minutes to pack and was forced out of the hotel at around 1am. She is 19 years old and not from the area, and was left alone outside in the middle of the night. The next day, I was also told to leave, despite being told everything would be fine. This meant we only stayed one night out of the week we had already paid for. We have since been refused any refund and have been accused of things that are not true. I trusted the staff when they told me she was safe, and instead she was put in a vulnerable situation. That is completely unacceptable. I would strongly advise others to avoid staying here.

I am absolutely appalled by the treatment of my 19-year-old daughter at MyRoomz Silver Strand Hotel in Blackpool. She and her partner paid £140 cash for a week’s stay. On the very first night, after being reassured by staff that she was “safe and sound,” she was then told she had five minutes to pack and was forced out of the hotel at around 1am. She was left alone, in an unfamiliar town, in the middle of the night. As a parent, that is completely unacceptable and deeply concerning. Her partner was then also made to leave the following day, meaning they only stayed one night out of the week they had paid for — with no refund given. To make matters worse, the hotel has since ignored all attempts to resolve this and has made false allegations instead of taking responsibility. This is not just poor service — it shows a complete lack of duty of care and basic decency towards guests. I will be taking this matter further and would strongly advise others to avoid this hotel.
