We stayed here for 3 nights, and cannot fault it! Staff were friendly and helpful, especially the duty manager (sorry, I didn't catch his name). Yes, the room was a little dated, but it was clean and comfortable. The spa was lovely, we spent a couple of hours there each day - the only thing I can think to suggest is that lounge chairs would be great for relaxing with a book. We ate in the restaurant on Friday night and the food was delicious. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing break, and we definitely plan to return with our 2 dogs as it was exceptionally dog friendly from what we saw. Big improvement with the change in Chef. I have been going to the hotel for years and seen many changes, even when things are in need of some TLC it's not long in being sorted. Of course, larger jobs and special order items will always take longer to get replaced, it's just the way with everything. Many of the staff are the same, even after the sale in December. It's great to be welcomed by the staff who recognise their loyal customers. A big shout out to Kenny, who is part of the furniture at this point, and his restaurant crew.

We had a great day at the hotel and spa yesterday. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. We checked in for the spa first. Lovely facilities, changing rooms and showers. There's a 25m pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room, with a cold shock shower and then also regular pool side showers. It was lovely and warm and clean. We then had afternoon tea in the bar area. Tastefully decorated, comfortable, spacious. The tea was wonderful, tasty finger sandwiches, cakes and scones and hot drinks. We really enjoyed our visit. Plenty parking outside, dietary requirements catered for and again, very helpful staff.

Staff very friendly .. apart form the afternoon/night shift manger very rude ..! It was a woman who was in When to ask a question at 21.00 hours and not one off them were there but could here voices in the mangers room ..? And door was closed …. 18/ 6/ 26 this occurred…. As for meal was very nice but chips were hard …. But for the young girls and gentleman were very nice and happy to accommodate anything and always asked if wee need anything and if wee would were ok …. Sort out night reception and mabay kitchen and all would be fine …
