Stunning hotel with friendly, welcoming hosts. Just had an overnight stay at this beautiful hotel, wish we had booked longer! Lovely walks near by and plenty of shops and restaurants, breakfast at the hotel was delicious. I highly recommend a stay here.

We are returning guests lost count how many times we have stayed! We are never disappointed and always have an amazing experience. The rooms and guest areas are to a high standard with lots of beautiful finishing touches. Breakfast is always delicious and Gary & Nigel always go above and beyond nothing is too much hassle. Ivybank Lodge is truly special. Such stunning accommodation, the rooms are immaculate with everything you could possibly need. The whole building is so tastefully decorated with all the period furniture. The two snugs are amazing, great places for relaxing with a drink. Gary and Nigel are both outstanding hosts, friendly, warm and very attentive. We had dinner during our stay. All I can say is "WOW" food was stunning. In all honesty one of the nicest meals I've ever had. Nigel truly is a wonderfully talented chef. We have honesty found our special place and can't wait to return. Many thanks for sharing your little piece of paradise with us.

I stayed here last summer, and I still think back about how lovely this place and its owners is. If you have the chance to go, you definitely should. If you don’t - rearrange your plans so that you can go anyway!
