Robin Hoods Wheelgate Park

A cross between Sundown and Gullivers. AMAZING WATER PARK AREA. Rest of park is a mix of animals and rides, some areas very clean and new, others are very grotty and need some attention. More indoor activities than Gullivers, across multiple buildings. Enough for younger kids, approx 18 months old but I'd say geared more towards 4-8 year old due to ride height restrictions. Toilets are a bit.... gross, and indoor play area needs a good clean and fix. Prices are reasonable, staff are lovely and water play area IS THE BEST. If you come just for that it's worth it on a hot day. Kids will love it.

We had a fantastic day at Wheelgate Park! The whole park was clean, well-maintained, and perfect for families with children. Our favourite part was definitely the water play area – it was so much fun, especially on a warm day. The kids absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave! The staff were friendly, and there were plenty of attractions to keep everyone entertained. We will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend Wheelgate Park to other families.

Visited for the first time today and won't be the last! Arrived for opening and the queue went down very quickly, we paid for the capybara experience as a surprise for my daughter and the lady at the ticket desk quickly twigged on and let her dad take her through so I could show relevant I.D to prove she was over 7 and to give me more information without the surprise being ruined (so grateful I'm sorry I didn't get your name but you went above and beyond) the park is well spaced out with lots of rides that are included, parks that are well maintained and clean and indoor spaces too with rides ect which makes it perfect for all weather. We did the Capybara experience and don't want to ruin it for others so all I can say is it's worth every penny! Would highly recommend it. Food was very reasonably priced and had a good selection and quick service considering we went right at dinner time rush hour. All the staff was really friendly and yes a lot of them are young but I found them to be polite, helpful and enthusiastic and everyone I saw was working hard and focused on their job. The water park was absolutely amazing it opened at 2pm and although there was a lot of people, all the slides where well staffed with staff at the top and bottom of the slides and more staff around the edges keeping watch so I definitely felt my daughter was safe from the older kids/adults where the slides where concerned. Overall we've had such an amazing day and can't wait to visit again. Thank you to all the staff

Lots to do at this park, even for very young children (18 months+). The water adventure park is especially good as there are areas where parents can keep an eye on very young children but they can still enjoy splashing about in the water and a large seating area and tables with parasols for families, including sun loungers. There's a small animal farm where you can feed some of the animals - these include capybaras, meerkat, goats, emu and smaller ones such as rabbits and guinea pigs. There's also a reptile house. I think there's something for everyone. Indoor activities are available too with air conditioning. Toilet facilities are adequate.
