What visitors say
We love this campsite, and so do our three kids. From the moment you arrive, you're made to feel welcome by the fantastic staff. The facilities are excellent, always kept to a high standard of cleanliness, and there is plenty of hot water for showers. The small on-site shop is really handy, and the quality dry firewood available makes evening campfires even more enjoyable. We wanted to add to our previous review because we had such a fantastic time on our second trip to Druids Rest. The campsite has a wonderful atmosphere, with plenty of space and a genuinely friendly, relaxed vibe. It's the kind of place where families can unwind, children can enjoy the outdoors, and everyone feels welcome. The location is also superb. The beautiful beaches and hidden coves around Traeth Dafarch are well worth exploring, with crystal-clear water, stunning coastal scenery, and plenty of opportunities for paddling, swimming, rock pooling, and coastal walks. We also enjoyed visiting the nearby shops and local amenities, which are close enough to be convenient while still allowing the campsite to feel peaceful and secluded. It's no surprise that so many of the people you meet here are returning customers. Druids Rest is a hidden gem on Anglesey and a place we look forward to visiting again and again. Thank you, Mark and the whole team, for all your hard work and for creating such a special place to stay.

Just returned home, campsite was lovley, friendly staff and clean facilities, although the shower turns off far too quickly. Nice grass area in the middle where the children came together to play games. A couple of garden games provided by the shower block and a little woodland walk for the children. I chose this campsite as it advertises that it must be quiet from 9.30, this unforrunatley was not the case and there where children still screaming gone 10.30. Other than this it was a lovley site. This is my first camping experience, and I'm glad I picked this place as my first campsite. The toilet, shower and washing up facilities were all spotless, and the water was clear as anything. The owner is friendly, and had a fairly relaxed attitude to things like fires and where to pitch.

Lovely campsite, our second visit and it never dissapoints. Spacious area to pitch up, toilets and showers always clean, fire pits provided. Little shop on site for cold drinks, icecreams etc. And even an area to charge up devices at no extra cost.
