What a fantastic little gem!! We are so lucky to have this local to us and have visited a number of times over the years. Its quirky, interesting, interactive and so well thought out and priced. Each exhibit is so creative and interesting. The staff are just lovely, really friendly and full of information and help if you need it! Really cant rate this place enough. Ideal for curious children and adults alike!

Well worth a visit. We took our granddaughters aged 7 and 8. They both loved every minute. There was plenty for them to explore. The majority of the exhibits are hands on mechanics. From leavers and bullies moving objects, vacuums pick up and moving things to the workings of a piano. Mirror's, reflection's and distortion. Some of the exhibits required the girls to work together. While others had them competing with each other. I'm sure both of their brains had a good workout. They both want to go back. You can't get better than that.

What a fantastic, innovative and thoroughly entertaining place!!! So quirky and not like any other interactive museum we have been to. There was something for everyone here as a family of 6. We stayed for nearly 3 hours so I was surprised when I read a few reviews saying it wasn’t more than an hours worth of activity… I guess it depends on how much you love science and experimenting! The staff were all wonderful people, interesting, enthusiastic, welcoming and knowledgeable with a genuine enthusiasm for helping people enjoy science. Worth every penny and will definitely be back next year with our extended family. Thank you to everyone at discovering42… well done and keep up the good work! X
