About The Crown Hotel Boroughbridge
A former coaching inn on Horsefair, The Crown Hotel Boroughbridge has grown into a 37-room hotel while keeping its traditional character intact. It sits at the centre of this North Yorkshire town, offering free on-site parking for those arriving by car and easy access to the surrounding countryside.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, and family and accessible rooms are available alongside a bridal suite for special occasions. Guests can expect breakfast, packed lunches and kids' meals, drinks brought to the room, and both room service and laundry service on request. Beyond the bedrooms, the hotel runs to a restaurant and bar, plus a gym, spa and sauna, and an indoor swimming pool, giving guests plenty to do without leaving the building.
Outside, the area suits walking and cycling, with golf, fishing and horse riding all nearby, and a choice of pubs and bars close by for evenings out. Knaresborough and York are within reach for those wanting a day trip, with York Castle Museum among the local points of interest worth building into a visit.
Guests mention this hotel offers excellent food, including delicious breakfasts and hearty meals like steak and ale pie, alongside well-maintained spa facilities with a pool, sauna, and steam room. They also highlight the friendly, helpful staff and the great value for money.
