Candy Cottage

Addingham is a working village in the foothills above Ilkley, within reach of moorland walks and the Yorkshire Dales. Candy Cottage sits on a quiet street here, a two-bedroom terraced property where you have the whole place to yourself. The ground floor is one open space: a living room with a wood burner and Smart TV at one end, a kitchen at the other with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and coffee machine. Upstairs are two bedrooms – a double and a single – and a bathroom with a bath, shower and heated rail. One dog is welcome.

The essentials are covered: heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included, along with the first load of wood for the burner. Outside, the front garden has a patio, seating and a barbecue. On-road parking is available. There's a pub within a mile, and Addingham's own shops and cafés are walkable. Ilkley – known for its tea rooms, moor walks and the Cow and Calf rocks – is just a short drive, and Bolton Abbey and Skipton are nearby for days out.
