Fernhill Cottage

Fernhill Cottage is a detached bungalow in Oxenhope, near Haworth. Built as a single storey and completely refurbished in 2018, it occupies grounds with mature gardens and sits at the top of a private drive. The whole property is yours alone, with parking for two cars and a bike store on site.

Everything is on the ground floor. The open-plan living area has a large television and dining space flowing into a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and full-sized fridge. A conservatory opens onto a walled courtyard where you can sit out, eat, or use the gas barbecue. Two bedrooms, both with kingsize beds and 40-inch televisions, each have their own ensuite bathroom. Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels are all included.

This corner of West Yorkshire brings Brontë literature within reach: Haworth village, with its high street of independent shops and cafés, lies two miles away, and the Brontë Parsonage Museum is there too. The Keighley and Worth Valley Steam Railway runs half a mile away. Walkers have access to moorland routes including the path to Top Withens, linked to 'Wuthering Heights'. The property suits couples or small families; smoking is not permitted.
