This 17th-century stone cottage stands two storeys with pitched wooden beams and traditional thatch, a period structure that retains its character after restoration. It sits near Oakworth, within reach of Haworth and the surrounding Pennine landscape. The whole property is yours alone, with parking on site and an enclosed garden where you can sit out and take in views across open meadows.
Downstairs, a sitting room with wooden flooring and wood burner opens through to a kitchen and dining space equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, gas hob, microwave and washing machine all there. Upstairs are two bedrooms: a double and a single, served by a bathroom with bath, shower and heated towel rail. Bed linen, towels, electricity and Wi-Fi are included. The cottage does not permit smoking.
The rear garden overlooks a brook and the farmland beyond, with mature planting and a patio for sitting. This works well for anyone wanting to explore the Dales on foot, or simply to stay put in a quiet, self-contained base. The village is walkable, and local restaurants are within easy reach if you choose not to cook.

A good base, but starting to look tired needs decorating now, and not able to control the central heating, traffic noise and issue in the morning if you are a light sleeper, bed very comfortable

Had a lovely few days in this charming cottage. Lovely patio for sitting out in great sun trap. The stairs to the bedrooms was fairly steep with 3 steps to get to the door. Cottage is equipped with everything you could need and set in some beautiful scenery as long as you like hills and narrow roads. Great pub to eat out in easy walking distance but down a very steep hill with no pavement so care with traffic. A really lovely place to stay.
