An 1800 barn conversion, The Barn retains the character of its working past while delivering the comfort of a modern family home. Built on the site of a 16th-century Dales Long House, it has been transformed from agricultural storage into a four-bedroom property without losing the architectural details that make it distinctive—most notably the barn arch window in the living room, which frames views across the valley. The wood burner there is a practical and atmospheric focal point on cooler days.

The layout spreads across two floors. Downstairs holds a living room, dining room and kitchen equipped for everyday cooking and entertaining, plus a utility room with washing and drying machines. Upstairs are four bedrooms: one with a super king bed, two with king beds, and one with zip-and-link singles (convertible to a super king on request). Each bedroom has an ensuite shower room with heated towel rail; there is also a shared bathroom with a bath. Essentials like electricity, heating, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included. One dog is welcome at no extra cost. There is off-road parking for four cars and an electric charging point if needed, plus a bike store and patio with barbecue.
