Hutter farm - Hutter Hill Barn East

Photo: Anna Blackwood

Step through the door into an open-plan ground floor where living, dining and kitchen flow together. A woodburner anchors the living area, with a TV, DVD player and CDs for quieter evenings. The kitchen is fitted for proper cooking—electric oven, dishwasher, microwave—and a separate toilet completes this level. Upstairs, a single bedroom contains a kingsize bed and an ensuite with shower and heated towel rail.

The barn sits on a working farm approached by a quiet track, with oak beams and stone walls throughout. An enclosed patio with garden furniture overlooks open countryside toward the Dales, and there is parking for one car on site. Bed linen and towels are provided; heating and electricity are included. Children under 5 cannot be accommodated.

This location suits walkers and cyclists especially—footpaths lead directly from the property. The nearby village of Kildwick has a food-serving pub, and Skipton (six miles away) offers a medieval castle, shops and restaurants. Local fishing is available by permit, and golf, horse riding and a swimming pool are within reach.

Fantastic Cottage! Super clean and spotless. Decorated beautifully inside. Loved the interior stone wall and and ornaments inside. The owner was so friendly. The Cottage had a dishwasher, two lovely showers, twin bedroom and one double bedroom. The cottage was lovely and warm too. Two Tvs with Dvd players. The only thing was there was no WiFi but thats understandable in rural location. Beautiful location with fields surrounding all sides and a five minute drive from Silsden. There is two separate cottages, we stayed in the west one and the east one is located in the other side. Would definitely recommend!
