Scarning Dale Cottages - Rose Cottage

Rose Cottage is a single-storey Norfolk property built into the grounds of Scarning Dale, a 25-acre estate of gardens, woodland and meadow. The whole cottage is yours alone: one double bedroom, bathroom with shower, and an open-plan living space that flows from sitting area through to kitchen and dining zone. French doors open onto a patio. Everything sits on the ground floor. Essentials like bed linen, Wi-Fi and electricity are covered; there's a welcome pack on arrival, and a cot available if you need one.

The estate has an indoor heated swimming pool available for private use by arrangement, table tennis, and a shared snooker room. An external utility area with washing machine and tumble dryer (coin-operated, shared) means you can do laundry. One dog is welcome, kept on a lead outside the garden. Parking is on site and there is no smoking throughout. The grounds contain unfenced water features, so do take note of that if it matters. Walking trails wind through meadow and woodland; birdwatching is excellent directly from the cottage. The Norfolk Broads lie 40 minutes' drive away, with boat hire and waterside eating scattered along the rivers. The North Norfolk coast with its beaches and reserves is within reach of the car.
