The Dunes

Kenfig National Nature Reserve lies within walking distance, and several beaches are accessible on foot or a short drive away. Porthcawl, a traditional seaside town, is ten minutes by car. The Dunes sits in a location suited to exploring both the coast and inland South Wales—Cardiff and Swansea are within reach for a day out, as is Cowbridge for independent shopping and dining.

The annexe is a compact, two-storey space for two people. Downstairs holds an open-plan kitchen, dining area and sitting room with a wood burner; the kitchen has an oven, hob and dishwasher for self-catering. The first floor contains one bedroom with a kingsize bed and an ensuite shower room. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. There is parking for one car on site, and a garden. No smoking.

The location suits couples wanting to explore the Glamorgan coastline and nature reserves without the fuss of a larger property. After a day out, the village has two pubs serving food, or you can cook in.
