About Days Inn Bridgend Cardiff
Days Inn Bridgend Cardiff sits directly at Junction 36 of the M4, making it a straightforward stop for anyone travelling between Cardiff, Swansea and the South Wales coast. The hotel is a simple two-storey building with 40 rooms, geared towards practical overnight stays rather than a destination in itself.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, and family and accessible rooms are available, along with free WiFi and in-room drinks. Pets are welcome throughout, which is worth knowing if you're travelling with an animal. There's a restaurant on site serving breakfast, plus outdoor seating and a picnic area for warmer days, and 24 hour reception means arrival times aren't a worry. An electric vehicle charge point is available, and on-site parking is chargeable rather than free.
Beyond the hotel itself, the surrounding area offers golf and fishing nearby, along with pubs, bars and restaurants within easy reach for evening meals. Bridgend, Cardiff and Swansea are all accessible thanks to the motorway location, making this a practical base for exploring the region rather than lingering on site.
Reviewers consistently praise this hotel for its great value, highlighting the helpful and friendly staff.
Other reviews mention parking can be unexpectedly charged and rooms can be poorly maintained.
