You enter Bay Cottage into a dining space with the kitchen immediately to hand, a deliberate layout that makes the place feel welcoming and naturally organized from the moment you step through the door. Everything is on the ground floor: two generous bedrooms, each with its own ensuite shower room, and two separate living areas that let you choose between settling by the window for countryside views or watching the television in the other room. The kitchen is fully fitted for cooking, with induction hob, electric oven, dishwasher, and all the basics covered. One living room has a second television; the other doesn't, which matters if you want somewhere quieter.
The 42 acres of mostly wooded grounds belong to the Coytrahen estate, an 18th-century landscaped park. Bay Cottage sits detached just behind the main country house, with its own private access and parking for up to four cars. Outside, a patio holds a barbecue and seating, and there's a hot tub for four people. Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included. One well-behaved pet can stay free. The property is non-smoking. The setting suits families or groups of friends who want space to themselves but also want to explore the surrounding woodland; children can visit the goats kept elsewhere on the estate.
