About Glencoe Hotel

Glencoe Hotel occupies a modest terraced building on Marshall Avenue in Bridlington, the kind of straightforward guesthouse that favours a relaxed, homely feel over polish. It's a simple set-up with a lounge, a bar and a games room complete with a pool table, making it an easy base for a casual seaside stay rather than a luxury retreat.

Rooms are plain and comfortable, with en-suite bathrooms, family options and accessible rooms available, plus drinks available in room and free WiFi throughout. Breakfast is served on site, and there's a restaurant and bar at the property for evening meals and drinks, with 24 hour reception and luggage storage covering the practical side of things.

Bridlington itself offers plenty to fill the days, with golf, fishing and watersports all nearby, along with walking and cycling routes for those who prefer to stay on land. Pubs, restaurants and other eateries sit close by too, and there's local entertainment on hand for evenings out beyond the hotel's own bar.

Room 1 is lovely. Clean, with flat screen TV and kettle and well made, comfortable bed. Its actually 1.5 size so although I'm staying alone it could easily accommodate a slim couple. The host is lovely, there's a pool table and a bar plus breakfast is only an extra fiver a day. They even let me park my wheelchair downstairs. Very impressed.

Very dated b and b and the bathroom did not feel welcoming at all. The breakfast was disappointing as the orange juice was very poor quality- tasted like orange cordial. The bacon and sausages were dry as though they had just been warmed up again and not freshly cooked. The fried eggs and beans were nicely done and the toast was freshly made. The staff were friendly. Felt like it was overpriced for the quality of accommodation and breakfast

Bed not too bad. The breakfast was good but bathroom was filthy. We could not use the shower as it was so dirty. The sink had all grime in it and found the taps. Dust all over skirting boards and on mirrors. Needs a good clean. Would never go again

A very clean hotel with spacious rooms, we were greeted by a wonderful lady who couldnt do enough to make our stay enjoyable. The full english breakfast went down a treat, looking forward to our next visit.
