About Bridge House Hotel
Bridge House Hotel occupies a period building on East Street in the centre of Bridport, the kind of solid, characterful property that anchors an old market town. Its rooms are comfortable and practical rather than grand, with en-suite bathrooms and family rooms available for those travelling with children, plus drinks in the room and room service for anyone who'd rather not venture out.
Downstairs there's a bar and a garden with outdoor seating, useful on a fine day, and breakfast is served alongside the option of a packed lunch for guests heading out to explore. Free on-site parking and an electric vehicle charge point cover practical needs, and reception operates around the clock. Pets are welcome, which makes it a straightforward base for those touring with a dog.
Bridport itself sits within easy reach of Dorset's Jurassic Coast, and the hotel's location puts walking and cycling routes, golf, fishing and watersports all within range, along with nearby pubs, restaurants and entertainment. It's a fitting base for exploring the coastline without needing to travel far each evening.
