We stayed at west bay for 7 days from 24th July. We asked for assistance at reception with getting the bags into the van as I had jus had an operation and they were very accommodating. Caravan was spotlessly clean and very roomy considering it was only 2 bedroom (which we requested). The service in the boathouse was excellent, especially Clare who was very accommodating and was about the only one who cleaned the plates away before the seagulls came down. Overall a very enjoyable relaxing stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Parkdean Resorts West Bay. The park is clean, peaceful, and very well maintained. The caravan was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the beach and the beautiful Jurassic Coast. A perfect place to relax and explore the area. We would happily come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a holiday in Dorset.

This place is great for touring caravans. Short walk to the beach, West Bay has some good food choices. The toilet block is very run down and poorly treated by some of the campers. Entertainment was fine for our 8 year old, 12 and 15 year old were not impressed. Pool kept all 3 boys happy, but needs refurbishment. All staff are lovely.

We had really high hopes for this lil getaway, sadly there were a few things that were disappointing. We were told that they didn't provide towels which was fair enough but then that also meant no tea towels, no hand towels... We were also told they didn't provide washing up liquid and again we didn't piece together that that also meant no hand soap. All in all, for the amount we paid for 2 nights (which wasnt cheap) we kind of expected a couple more things to be included (maybe more than 1 roll of toilet roll for 2 nights and 2 adults). To rent a highchair and a cot for the 2 nights would have been £30 on top of what we paid for our stay. This also just seemed a lil mean spirited. Having said this, there were some positives. The caravan was very clean, the location is lovely and the staff on the whole were very friendly. We ran into a slight issue when we went to the kids club for the entertainment and realised we had only been given 1 pass, when there were 2 of us adults. The bouncer on the door said multiple times that we needed another pass, and we could only tell him that we had only been given the 1. Suffice to say, he did reluctantly let us in so our 1year old could watch the entertainment for a bit before bed. It is a shame, but we won't be staying at a Parkdean resort again. It just felt a little greedy given I thought we were going for a cheery "cheap" holiday that was tailored towards families.
