Brilliant place for a visit. A lovely example of a victorian industrial building that's been turned into a museum. Preserving the history along side modern working glass makers. There's a great cafe and direct access to the canal if you fancy a walk along the footpath.

I dropped in for the afternoon with a close friend who, being a great grandmother, remembers when glass was still being made here. The history of the place was fascinating, as was the view along the canal.

We came here on a bank holiday Monday a few months back and it was a great look at the glass industry! You had the massive glass cone and some of the other workings and a lot of beautiful glass that had been made on site to look at! It was in a beautiful location too right next to the canal! It’s a great place to come and spend a day, they also have a gift shop full of some beautiful vases etc and other sellers on site in their own little shops! Highly recommend!
