Bridgnorth, 6 miles away, splits into two halves connected by a cliff railway; Low Town overlooks the Severn Valley while High Town claims views King Charles I reportedly declared the finest in his kingdom. The Severn Valley Railway runs a 16-mile scenic route nearby, and the area gives access to National Trust properties including Dudmaston Hall and Attingham Park, plus Ironbridge Gorge, activity centres offering everything from archery to zip wires, and various museums and country attractions.
No. 1 Ash Cottage is a converted barn with two bedrooms—one with two single beds, one with a single—and a bathroom with bath and shower. Downstairs is open-plan living and dining space with a kitchen equipped for self-catering. The whole property is yours alone. One dog stays free. You have private parking for two cars and access to a shared lawned paddock with a sitting-out area. The Six Ashes Inn sits next door, 50 yards away. A brook runs through the grounds 40 yards from the cottage, fenced for safety. Essentials are covered: heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included.
