Sungrove Club

Welcomed by a member. Access with a 6 metre motorhome was easy. Pitches are grass, but firm. Extra for a hook-up if you need it. Grounds well kept and being improved all the time. Good facilities, games in the club room, excellent swimming pool.

A couple of friends and I planned to visit Sungrove Club for an overnight tent camp. Unfortunately the weather forecast didn't look too promising and two of our party dropped out. However, I decided to go anyway, as I don't let things like the weather bother me. I am so glad I did! I was made very welcome by everyone who was there. I was shown round the very well kept site which is maintained by its members. The pitches are grass and level. There is a lovely swimming pool which is now covered with a metal framed polycarbonate structure. The water temperature is maintained by solar energy and is very comfortable. There are ample sun loungers and patio chairs to use. There is also a sauna but it is not used much apparently. The toilet/shower block is always kept very clean and it has disabled facilities. The club house is well furnished and has cooking facilities, fridge, freezer etc. There is a barbeque which is used on a Saturday evening on which a variety of meat is cooked, which I enjoyed during my visit. The members organise various outdoor games to partake in which is fun and also quizzes etc. I just found everything about Sungrove great. I made some good friends in the two days I was there and I have been invited back, which I am looking forward to already. I recommend Sungrove Club as the perfect place to relax and enjoy the company. Edit... Since I wrote this review, I became a member. 👌

The members are very pleasant and accommodating people. We arranged a day visit with just two hours notice, got the grand tour, met many lovely people and were stunned at how lovely the site is. We were even invited back to this evening's BBQ and shared the food they layed on. Then we joined in with several quizzes and all had a good laugh about our general knowledge or lack thereof! Going back tomorrow to sign up for membership. Many more happy days and nights ahead:-).

Clean well kept site with plenty space, we were greeted by a club member, shown around,made to feel very welcome. We felt safe and relaxed here and hope to return later in the year.
