What visitors say
Wonderful place to learn about the interesting history of Brora and surrounding areas. Fascinating. Staff very friendly and welcoming, Jason in particular. Great coffee and cakes in the cafe.

Wow....wonderful food. Interesting menu, clearly prepared by talented chefs, a real standout offering for the area. Lovely decor with subtle nods to the heritage of the village. The museum is just as great, who would of thought a small highland village would have so much interesting history. A real must visit if you bare in the area.

If you can't visit the two distilleries, at least you can stop off here! A great little café, with good hot food, cakes and drinks. My wife liked the souvenir section.

We visited the cafe at the Heritage centre. A new building opened August 2025. A menu with varied items to choose from - something for most people but a little misleading. Grilled Chicken with Potato, salad was actually Potato Salad. Good staff - explained the no good sign at 1145 as breakfast menu ended 1130 and lunch menu was not starting until 1200. Good modern design and facilities
