Caravan park in Brora, Highlands, with showers and beach access within a few minutes' walk.

About Seabreezes Caravan Park

Seabreezes Caravan Park is a campground in Brora, a village on the east coast of the Highlands. The site has showers and sits just a few minutes' walk from the beach car park, putting the shoreline within easy reach for a morning swim or an afternoon stroll.

Brora itself is a small working village with a long history of fishing and whisky-making. The beach here is grey sand and shingle, backed by dunes, and draws surfers and walkers. The wider area offers access to Highlands hiking, lochs and glens, though the caravan park is modest in size and facilities, so it suits those after a straightforward base rather than a resort experience.

It's a gorgeous location with really nice views over the beach (if it wasn't for the prison style fencing around the outside) the pitches themselves are fine, on well looked after grass with regular electric hook up, and park benches to use. We arrived around 7.15pm and there was no staff to greet us, we parked up on a pitch that had our name on and spoke to our neighboring camper who gave us the code for the showers and toilets. The owner came over a couple of hours later to collect payment (which is cash only) it was £32 for the night for our van and two adults. The owner was a very lovely man who told us a little about the area. We were slightly convinced we'd turned up at the wrong place as it is not that reflective of the images provided on the Camping and Caravanning Website, there is also only one small sign with the branding on. The building is slightly run down, and smells of damp throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped with a sink, microwave, toaster and lots of helpful information about the area. There is also a washing machine which is £5 per load. There was also an ironing board and other useful things. The showers were a good temperature and pressure, however a bit run down and you have to pay £1 for 5 minutes which isn't mentioned anywhere on the Camping and Caravanning website. There is one shower and one toilet per gender which wasn't an issue for us as there was only 2 other campervans on the site on the Saturday night when we stayed. The shower is very open to everyone walking past as the main door is propped open so there is only one door separating you, additionally the window was open in the shower so the campsite could see directly in while taking a shower. The facilities were very clean just run down. They were warm but not particularly well lit at night so that coupled with the smell made for quite a creepy toilet visit. Overall not at all what you would expect from a Camping and Caravanning Certified Site. It could be a really nice place if some of the issues were sorted out, but equally not the worst campsite, just lower your expectations before arriving

Great spot hidden away. Right on the Sea with great view. The property was a WWII listening station thus fence with Barb wire designed to keep people Out at one time. Bathrooms are spotless. Good dishwashing area. The grass is flat with very good drainage and firm. Yes it can be windy so park caravan nose in and that blocks wind for door side. The owner Ian is the nicest most helpful man. Owner is a true Scot and very friendly. Generous pitch size. Very short walk to lovely town with pub, Coop and takeout. Highly recommended.

Not everyone's cup of tea but we loved it, it is a WW2 Message intersept building. 1 shower and toilet for men and the same for women. I imagine if all 6 sites were full it could get congested. Iain the owner friendly and personable.
