About The Maytime Inn
Six rooms is all The Maytime Inn has, which keeps things intimate at this Cotswolds inn in Asthall, just outside Burford. Each room comes with an en-suite bathroom, and the inn's small scale means guests are looked after with proper attention rather than lost in a big hotel operation.
Downstairs there's a restaurant and bar serving meals throughout the day, with kids' meals and packed lunches available for those heading out walking or cycling, and breakfast included to set guests up for the day. The garden and outdoor seating make the most of the setting, while free WiFi, drinks in the room, 24-hour reception and luggage storage cover the practical side. The inn also has meeting rooms and hosts weddings, and free on-site parking is provided for anyone arriving by car.
Burford and the surrounding countryside offer plenty to fill the time, with golf and fishing nearby, walking and cycling routes on the doorstep, and a choice of pubs, bars and restaurants close by for evenings out beyond the inn's own kitchen.
