What visitors say
I visited the park with my 5 year old granddaughter during the half term break as admission was half price. I fully appreciate the impact Covid had on the park and the recent fire but was still extremely disappointed with our time there. The animal enclosures needed renovating and the many empty ones were beyond repair. Most of the rides were dismantled or strewn about and ought to be removed. There were 3 go carts which were all broken although the crazy golf was available for a £5 refundable deposit on the clubs. The castle was usable but looked neglected. My granddaughter enjoyed the trampolines though and the soft play inside the barn. The staff were friendly and the keepers voluntarily shared information about the animals if present when we looked at them which is why I’ve awarded 1 star. With regards to the animals , there isn’t a wide range and some looked like they needed to be seen by a vet especially the white wallaby with sores over its body, one of the alpacas in the upper field with fur hanging off open sores and an ostrich who had bald patches. Hopefully, they are being treated but it was very upsetting to witness. I have reported the latter to the RSPCA as a cause of concern. The park has lots of potential if there was a proper financial investment. In its current condition, the normal entry fee of £14 isn’t worth it compared to similar ones within driving distance.

Fantastic place, we absolutely loved it the staff was fantastic, the animals so friendly and full of energy, well looked after . Can’t recommend this place enough, unfortunately they had a fire last year which ment we couldn’t see some of the snakes etc but still thoroughly enjoyed all the interaction with the animals. Some naughtier than others 😂 will definitely go again in the future when in the area .

Very, very expensive for what it is. Animals are okay but everything else is run down as heck. so much stuff is out of order or broken which looks terrible and does not help justify such an expensive entry fee. The duck boats in the picture are now disassembled and lying rotting by the entrance. The go karts were smashed up and unusable yet just left out for everyone to see. All the arcade machines were out of order and has been for ages. If they're not working, get rid of them. It looks terrible having all this stuff lying around. I can't not mention the price again. £60 for a family of 4! A family ticket is listed on the prices but it's still exactly the same price individually. I took my family to crealy adventure park the day before and paid almost the same price and that had over 20 different rides (it was a great day out). I could understand the price being high if there was stuff to do but it's all smashed up and broken. There was a soft play that wasn't too bad and a wooden play fort but still not worth such a high entrance fee. If you want animals there are much more reasonably priced and better animal parks nearby. Dont waste your money here unless you can get a half price entry or something.

We stopped here on the way home from our holiday. We had a lovely day with the kids, the animals are very friendly, sociable and look well cared for. All of them seemed confident with humans and happy to get a fuss - even the llamas and alpacas that we are used to being less approachable near us 🤣. The goat walk through and wallaby walk through is a really nice touch, the goats were very friendly and we sat with them for a while.. I could have sat with them all day! Our girls enjoyed the soft play playbarn. Like other reviews say, it is a bit run down, it’s a shame to see things from years ago that are no longer in use or things needing renovation. So if you are looking for a top of the range place then this isn’t it, however, if you’re looking for a farm with friendly animals that you can actually feed, touch and interact with, and a good play area for kids, then this is a place for you to enjoy

People say this animal farm offers a good variety of well-cared-for animals, interactive feeding and handling experiences, and a great indoor soft play area, all at a reasonable price.
Other reviews mention the facilities can be broken and the place can be run down.
