About Orchard Farm Luxury Glamping and Campsite
Tucked into the Somerset countryside near Glastonbury, Orchard Farm offers a refreshingly intimate escape with a choice of electric hardstanding pitches and well-appointed glamping pods. The ensuite deluxe pods are a particular highlight – spacious, thoughtfully fitted out, and ideal for families who want a touch of comfort without sacrificing the camping experience. Facilities cover the essentials: clean showers and toilets, electric hook-ups, drinking water, and WiFi that actually works.
The setting feels genuinely rural, with views across open farmland, yet you're only a short drive from Glastonbury's festivals, tor, and abbey. Dogs are welcome, and the owners strike a nice balance between being helpful and leaving you to enjoy the peace. It's not a sprawling site with endless amenities, but that's rather the point – Orchard Farm does the basics very well indeed.

What visitors say
We’re just returning from a wonderful two night stay here. We had the most amazing time. Such a beautiful, relaxing and idyllic place. From the moment we pulled up and was greeted by Steve, we were enchanted. He took us to our pod and showed us what was what. He and Kathy had already helpfully sent a bunch of information on things to do in the area, and was on hand for any further guidance if needed. He recommended some great places to eat too (Queen of Cups, definitely worth a visit). He even bought some food for me to feed the sheep with when I expressed an interest in feeding them. Loved that! Our pod had everything we needed for a great stay and, importantly, we slept comfortably too. It was lovely having the sheep as neighbours, they bought a smile to our face every morning sitting out having coffee and breakfast on the deck. The only downside is 2 nights was not enough time! I miss it already - 100% recommend. Perfect break, can’t wait to go back!

We stayed here for 1 night Last Friday. Very pretty and peaceful campsite set among orchards. Had all the facilities you’d need including toilets, showers and washing up area which were all clean. Tv and phone signal excellent and campsite wifi was also good. Hosts were very friendly and plenty of good footpaths for walking from site. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed for a week in our campervan at the end of April and relaxed the moment we arrived when we were greeted by Steve and given a very informative rundown about the local area and things to do. For us the campsite was idyllic - just us and two other vans. Loads of space, everything was clean and tidy and our sheep neighbours were very entertaining. Dog walks straight from the site - smudge is an old boy so this was perfect - and a great breakfast bap and fresh eggs an easy walk away at Sourdown Farm. We will definitely return - thank you Steve and Kathy for a perfect week in a beautiful area of the UK. Don't forget your £1 coins for the shower!
