Beech Croft Farm Caravan and Camping Park

Great campsite, lovely spacious pitches, electric hook up, playgrounds for kids, goats they can feed a bit of grass. Firepit hire available. Excellent all round for families. It lacks mature trees for natural shading which was a slight drawback in May when we stayed with the record breaking climate change heat. Took a gazebo for which there was a small extra charge. Staff helpful, shop well stocked. Toilet and shower block lovely and clean. All at the bottom of the hill so may want to bear that in mind for accessibility. Site loses tiny bit of credit for lacking fridge, this is so helpful for fresh milk etc. I understand it’s an extra thing for them to manage so I do get it, but it’s a real help when sites have one. There is one small chest freezer available for ice blocks which in the 30 deg heat meant a lot of trips back and forth changing them out for a cool bag, slight aggro but we managed. Location great! Buxton and Bakewell both close by, Morrisons one way and Aldi another. Overall a great campsite and would definitely return!

Fantastic campsite! Very clean site. Amenities are fantastic too. Very clean showers, toilets etc,. Lovely staff ! We fehlt very welcome and loved every minute of being here. Free wifi. Dogs are very welcome. Dog Place and Dog washing area. Great little shop, well stocked with everything you might need and you can buy maps for walks at a very small price. Every little detail is thought of. We have been travelling in the UK many times. This is the best Campsite we have been staying so far!

Would recommend this camp site, with its beautiful views in an excellent location. Located right on the Monsal trail, it was perfect access for nearby walks and very close to areas of interest such as Five wells and Chee dale. The site itself was large and spacious, with lovely farm animals, a good shop with friendly staff, a nice coffee shop/ cafe, and excellent facilities. There was a nice park with a zip wire which was fun. We really appreciated the large toilet/ showers with underfloor heating as we went on a rainy week, they were modern, clean and very warm. We stayed 5 nights, it was quiet and relaxed- got busy on the Friday and Saturday night but as it was spacious and large we weren’t too bothered by people or noise. We would definitely recommend this site, thank you for a lovely stay!

Lovely site. Very clean and tidy. Really friendly staff. Plenty of toilets and showers in heated and clean block. The showers are a perfect temperature too! 2 parks and plenty of space for excited children. The goats and sheep were a hit too. A short walk to the monsal trail and plenty of other routes on the doorstep. There is a bus stop at the top of the road with regular buses.
