About Ivy House Farm
Tucked into the Derbyshire countryside near Buxton, Ivy House Farm is a tiny, adults-only pop-up site that appeals to walkers and anyone seeking a properly peaceful escape. With just a handful of non-electric grass pitches for motorhomes, it's refreshingly low-key – though you'll need to manage without hot water. Dogs are welcome year-round, barbecues are allowed, and there's chemical disposal on hand.
The location is a genuine draw: you're ideally placed for exploring the Peak District's trails, with canoeing, climbing, mountain biking and cycling all nearby, plus a farmers' market within reach. It's straightforward, unpretentious and well-suited to outdoorsy types who value location and tranquillity over creature comforts.
