About Morfa Lodge Holiday Park
Morfa Lodge Holiday Park makes a practical base just outside Caernarfon, with straightforward facilities and a handy location for exploring Gwynedd's castles and coast. The swimming pool is a real bonus for families, and with electric hook-ups, WiFi and all the essential amenities on site, it's well set up for a comfortable stay. Dogs are welcome too, so the whole family can tag along.
The park's position puts you within easy reach of Snowdonia's peaks and the Menai Strait, while Caernarfon's imposing castle is just a short drive away. It's the sort of unfussy, well-equipped site that works equally well as a touring stopover or a longer base for tackling North Wales' many attractions.

What visitors say
Caravan itself was lovely. However over all experience was awful. Advertised that there would be clubhouse, pools, arcade ect….. all shut for the week apart from one night. Went in for this one night (I say night it was 4 hours). To say staff member was the most unprofessional person I’ve ever spoke to in my life is an understatement. Asking my partner how to get rid of her ‘hickeys’ and showing him her neck. Might I add this was all in-front of my child. I was not impressed at all. Raised all of this to the appropriate people and they couldn’t have cared any less. No apologies nothing. Really sad as we have visited other sites from same company and they were great. I would avoid this site at all costs

The static its self is absolutely beautiful, really clean all over and kitchen was stocked on arrival and the WiFi was good for us. Plenty of space for two cars outside our stay and easy to find our static. However the reason for a low rating was the over all service and atmosphere of the site. The bar staff are incredibly rude, constantly short changed and the drink prices were different every time. The staff look like they don’t want to be there and that you’re a hinderance. There is no food service or on site shop as described when we were booking our stay online. The site has a 9pm curfew for children however we had children running between the van up until 11:30pm screaming and shouting. Our cars were constantly hit by children playing football on the field. The “arcade” was constantly trashed by children leaving litter and we even witnessed children pouring water on the machines and pushing slime into the slots, there is 0 supervision as children where riding electronic scooters and bikes in between the tables at the bar area while you’re trying to have a drink. Our nephews were constantly harassed and were sworn at constantly by other children on site in the play area. It’s such a shame as the static it’s self is wonderful and accommodated all of us really well but over all it was a disappointing stay.

Cannot fault the caravan it was lovely, very clean and situation was perfect, the grounds itself spotless and well looked after but unfortunately that's where it ends. There is nothing else to do we were staying Monday to Friday and the club house wasn't open until Thursday and that was 4 till 8 supposedly until another couple came in so it stayed open till 9. The pool wasn't open we saw them take the covers off on one Morning Friday !! There is literally nothing to do on here if you have children they have a very small play area consisting of a climbing frame a slide and a tunnel. No football allowed so can't go and play even though there is quite a decent grass patch in the middle and dogs have to be kept on a lead at all times. This site is probably ok if you are of an older age and don't want to be entertained, shame it could be so much better
