What visitors say
Great camping spot. We had electric hook up, nice large spot for our camper and our friends tent. We had our own picnic table which was useful. There is a lovely stream running behind and as it’s a working farm you got to see cute lambs. Walking distance to the pub, shop and coffee places. Good walks from the campsite as well. Nice clean toilets and showers. Peaceful location. Friendly owners.

Small campsite, along the Cumbria Way. We were walk-ins, reception a bit frosty, not indicated when you come from the Nort/East, but ok. Facilities limited, so may get tricky when full. Clean. Ground on our pitch quite stony, but not exposed. You do end up close to the road and the tents on the other side, but the benefit of having a bench and a hot shower make up for that. Great value. Pub - The Oddfellows Arms - will make you forget about cooking your own food ;) Would come again.

Great little campsite bang on the Cumbria way (the footpath literally goes directly through the campsite. Good variety of size of pitches, we were in 2 small one man tents and the campsite was pretty unbooked (mid May) so we were able to choose our own. Welcomed warmed and helpful staff gave us details on where to go in the village. Excellent showers and toilets, plus a small inside area to wash dishes. Toilets and showers locked with code to make sure passing back walkers don't use them and are kept for campsite visitors- therefore lovely and clean. Beautiful location along the river.

Great little campsite, very basic but has everything you need. Local pubs nearby. Very quiet. Nice and cheap
