Calderdale's rural landscape frames this stone-built cottage, which sits between two characterful settlements—Hebden Bridge with its bohemian character and the preserved village of Heptonstall. Walking straight from the door into countryside adjoins the 400-acre National Trust estate of Hardcastle Crags, where wooded valleys, streams and footpaths crisscross the terrain. The Pennine Way and Calderdale Way both connect through the area, and the Peak District and Yorkshire Dales are within reach for a day trip.
The cottage sleeps eight across four bedrooms: a king on the ground floor with its own toilet, a king with French doors to a balcony and a roll-top bath, a double, and two singles. A second bathroom serves the upper bedrooms. Downstairs, the living room has a wood-burner and French doors opening to a patio; the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking; and a utility room handles laundry. The garden is lawned with a patio that catches evening sun, and parking fits four cars on site. One well-behaved pet stays free.
Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are covered. The property draws its water from a bore hole. No smoking is permitted.
