Tucked just off the North Coast 500 route, this working farm glamping site near Cannich offers a peaceful Highland base for exploring Glen Affric (15 minutes), Loch Ness (20 minutes), and the dramatic glens and peaks all around. You'll share the grounds with grazing Highland cattle, sheep, and a friendly alpaca herd you can trek with. The on-site farm shop sells home-reared meats and treats, while a pop-up restaurant and bar mean you needn't venture far for supper and a dram.

Hikers are spoiled for choice, with native woods, moorlands, and nature reserves radiating in every direction. When you're not scaling summits or wild swimming, fire up the communal barbecue area beside the River Glass. Note that dogs aren't allowed, which may disappoint some, but it keeps the atmosphere tranquil and livestock-friendly. The village of Cannich (five minutes' drive) has a shop offering delivery if you run short on supplies.

Had a great day ,activities for kids excellent. Only drawback and it is just minor and could be easily fixed.On going to bed last night beds cold and slightly damp as they are directly on the ground ,Simple remedy would be to raise beds on pallets or camp beds . But a great location and fab bands . Will def be back next year.
