Herne Bay's seafront lies a short walk away—the promenade stretches for miles, backed by beach huts, cafés and chip shops, with paddleboarding and other water activities available on the beach itself. The Reculver Towers and Roman Fort, a substantial draw for anyone interested in history or photography, is a scenic walk or brief drive along the coast. The town's Clock Tower and independent shops are all on the doorstep.

Richmond Cottage is a four-bedroom house sleeping eight, arranged across three floors. Ground floor holds a games room with pool table, plus one bedroom with a kingsize bed and an ensuite shower room. The first floor contains the main living and dining space with a smart TV, an open-plan kitchen equipped for proper cooking (electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, washing machine), and another kingsize bedroom. Upstairs, a super-kingsize bedroom and a fourth bedroom with two singles; a family bathroom with bath and shower serves both. Parking for one car is on site. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and electricity are included. The house is non-smoking.

This is genuinely spacious accommodation, well-suited to two families or a larger group who want room to spread out and still have their own sleeping quarters. A travel cot and highchair are available.
