Atmosphere: Warm, charming, welcoming. Service: Friendly Stock: Quite modern, a nice selection of children’s books too I’ve picked up some classics here like Alice in Wonderland and a huge illustrated /comic hardback edition of The Hobbit. The ladies here also sell really nice reading lights you can clip onto your book which I’ve enjoyed while reading Harry Potter and classical horror anthologies. It’s the perfect place to pick up gifts

The owner was really friendly and the bookshop had such a nice and cozy atmosphere. I went there with some friends to get some books but even though we didn’t actually get anything the owner was so kind and we had such a nice conversation with her. Though I don’t live near Herne Bay I would visit there again just to go to this store. It felt like I had stepped into a book itself and I have never felt anything just like this. I’m quite an avid book reader and I frequent bigger companies bookstores a lot but this store had something none of those other stores had and that is what makes it amazing. No glaze this is all true, from the bottom of my heart.
