28 Awelon

28 Awelon is a modern lodge built on one level, making it straightforward to get around. Three bedrooms sleep five: two rooms have ¾ double beds and one has a single, suitable for a child. The bathroom has a shower cubicle. Everything is included—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi—so there's nothing to organise on arrival.

The open-plan living and dining room is where the space opens up, with room to cook properly in a separate kitchen fitted with an electric oven, hob, microwave and air fryer. A portable air conditioner helps on warmer days. French doors lead to a decked area with garden furniture, a quiet spot for tea in the morning or an evening drink. The lodge sits on Penlan Holiday Park, which has a shared heated swimming pool (10m × 5m) and a dedicated dog walk; one dog can stay free, provided it's kept on a lead. Parking for one car is on site.

Cenarth Falls and riverside walks are minutes away. The Teifi valley suits walkers, cyclists and anglers, while the coast—Aberporth, Tresaith and Mwnt with their sandy beaches—is a short drive. The owner provides local maps, walk guides and a booklet of attractions and restaurants. No smoking inside the lodge.
