About Penlan Holiday Park
Penlan Holiday Park sits in peaceful Ceredigion countryside a few miles from Cardigan, offering a solid mix of facilities and a calm base for exploring the coast and hills. On site you'll find an outdoor pool, play area, bar and restaurant, plus a shop and games room – handy for families who want a bit of everything without venturing far. The setting feels genuinely remote, surrounded by forest and farmland, making it a walker's paradise and a good spot for wildlife watching.
Pitches are generous and the site welcomes dogs year-round, though some visitors note that parts of the park can feel a little tired and dated. Still, the location is hard to beat: Cardigan Bay's beaches, kayaking on the Teifi, and mountain biking trails are all within easy reach, and you're well placed for coastal paths and the Cambrian Mountains beyond.

What visitors say
The property name Caban Coetic is in a great location inside Penlan Holiday Park, and very easy to access, with convenient parking right outside. It's a private property. It’s spacious and works well for families, especially with a large dining table and plenty of seating. We also appreciated the extra items like badminton rackets and golf equipment, and the front porch is a nice place to relax in the evening. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and peaceful, and it’s only a short drive to nearby attractions like Cenarth Falls. However, there were some issues. Cleanliness was not up to standard. The living room rug was very dirty with visible dirt and hair, and the sofa cushions also had hair on them. This was disappointing, especially after being told the place was very clean. Another downside is that electricity is charged separately, which was not clearly mentioned. We stayed for 5 days, were mostly out during the day, and still spent around £25, which felt expensive. It was also surprising that no basic items like tea or coffee were provided. The checkout reminder message felt a bit unnecessary and unwelcoming. The garden area could also be better maintained, as it was quite overgrown. Overall, it’s a nice place with good potential, but it needs better cleaning, clearer communication, and more attention to detail.

This holiday park is a beautiful gem...have just returned from a wonderful 4 day stay, park is immaculate.....pool is fantastic kids loved it, playground was enjoyed by them as was the mini golf. Doog walking field is safe and well kept for dogs, dogs are welcome in bar....Craig is so helpful and so accommodating the bar is well stocked, he makes your stay special, as do the community of residents who live there. Wonderful place a t wait to visit again.

We had an excellent stay here in October half term. The cabins were lovely and clean and the site is great with plenty to keep the kids entertained. The bar was well priced and had both darts and pool and looks recently rennovated. There are lots of lovely walks and beaches close by too. I would highly reccomend!

Had the chance for a couple of days break and was lucky enough to find this gem of a place. Craig made me most welcome, and couldn’t do enough to ensure my stay was all it could be. The pool and bar were a surprisingly good addition to what I’d expected to be a basic caravan stay. There will clearly also be further additions based on the works started I saw when walking around the site. I will most definitely return some time soon
