Cwtch @ Forge Cottage

Cwtch @ Forge Cottage is a converted stone building standing alone in countryside outside Broadway, a few miles from Laugharne. The name is Welsh for embrace, which sets the tone for a property designed around comfort and detail. One bedroom holds a king bed and single bed; there is one bathroom with bath and shower. The ground floor is open-plan living with kitchen, dining and sitting areas, all equipped for self-catering. Essentials like bed linen, towels, electricity and wifi are included.

The cottage sleeps three adults only—no children under 18. There is private parking for one car on site, and a secure storage area for bicycles. A sitting area with garden furniture looks over fields where you may see cattle, sheep, horses and local wildlife including birds of prey and bats. The Carpenters Arms is within a mile. It is a 10-minute walk into Laugharne, where there are pubs and restaurants, and from here you can reach beaches and coastal paths across Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. Please note: no smoking indoors.
