About Nine Acres Camping and Caravan Park
Tucked into rolling Carmarthenshire countryside near Dylan Thomas's beloved Laugharne, Nine Acres offers a peaceful retreat with electric hook-ups across its grass pitches for tents, tourers and motorhomes. The on-site bar and café provide easy evening meals, while dog owners appreciate the welcome their pets receive year-round and the nearby walks through spectacular scenery. With cycle routes, fishing and riding all close by, plus Carmarthen's shops within reach, it's a solid base for exploring this literary corner of Wales.
Some visitors note facilities can feel a touch tired in places, though the friendly atmosphere and tranquil setting more than compensate. The bar becomes a convivial hub after days spent discovering Thomas's boathouse or casting a line along the Towy estuary.

What visitors say
We had a brilliantly quiet weeknight stay - super friendly owner who opened the bar so we could have a drink. Loos and showers clean and great water pressure. Thanks!
