Carmarthenshire's coast draws families for its scale: Pendine and Marros beaches connect at low tide into an unbroken seven-mile stretch of sand. Marros Hill Log Cabin sits on the owner's smallholding at the valley edge, positioned between the hamlet of Marros and this shoreline. A twenty-minute walk reaches the beach itself. The local pub is within a mile, and the village of Pendine—known for Malcolm Campbell's land speed record—has a museum, café and shop nearby.
The cabin is a single-storey timber building with three bedrooms, one bathroom and parking for three cars. The main bedroom has a double bed and countryside views; the second has two single beds; the third contains bunks. The open-plan living and kitchen area serves as the social hub, with a separate sun room for morning coffee and watching the sunrise. Everything needed for self-catering is provided—electricity, heating, bed linen and towels are included—and there's a travel cot and highchair if you need them. One well-behaved pet stays free of charge.
The setting suits families wanting beach access without the bustle of a resort town, though Tenby and its boat trips to Caldey Island are a twenty-minute drive away, and Colby Woodland Gardens offers another nearby option. The cabin is non-smoking throughout.
