Shippen

Cardigan sits five minutes' drive away, with beaches dotting the Ceredigion coast nearby. Shippen is one of seven cottages on a family-run site at Canllefaes, where guests share access to a heated outdoor swimming pool (May to September), games room, BBQ areas and children's play equipment including swings, a sandpit and adventure course. There's also a dog exercising field, making it straightforward for those travelling with pets.

The cottage has two bedrooms—one with a kingsize bed, the other with three singles—and one bathroom. Downstairs, an open-plan space combines living and dining areas with a woodburner, plus a kitchen equipped to cook properly, with electric oven, hob, dishwasher and all the usual appliances. Essentials like heating, electricity, wi-fi and bed linen are provided; fuel for the stove is included too. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available if needed. The rear garden has seating and furniture; a utility room with washing machines and tumble dryer is shared with neighbouring properties. Parking is available for two cars. Shippen sleeps five and welcomes one dog at no extra cost. Smoking is not permitted inside.
