Had a great weekend here in our touring caravan! Lovely site, friendly staff and the bonus of a bar/cafe. The site has all the usual touring facilities, fully serviced pitches and a small area for children to play. We came especially for the fishing and caught some lovely fish. I was suprised to find a little well equipped fishing shop on site which had everything you could possibly need to keep you going throughout your stay. We have already booked to come back next year.

Fished here for 2 years now and I catch at every other lake but never here.. I thought I was doing something wrong but then I noticed loads and loads of dead fish in the lakes. Also the man who comes round to check people have booked is so rude, he laughed at my fishing set up and made us feel uncomfortable so we will not be returning!

Great clean pod located on the Horseshoe lake. Dog friendly, fishing good, managed half a dozen chunky mirror carp up to 8 lbs. Booking system is excellent, choose whatever days you want if available, I went Sunday to Wednesday cooking utensils provided, take own condiments

Just spent a lovely weekend here with family. We stayed in glamping pods. Well worth the 2 hour drive. Absolutely spotlessly clean, lovely fresh smelling bedding and towels. Reception staff really helpful and pleasant. Location is lovely and peaceful and close to local shops, amusements etc. Salt box was fabulous! Will definitely be back.
