Long on my bucket list, now finally made it. I’m not sure, whether my expectations were too high or they had a mediocre day. But the experience felt far from a three star restaurant. The surprise menu was mostly tasty, but no course was exceptional and to be remembered for longer. If it has been a one star restaurant, I’d give a 5/5 but comparing it for example with Jan Hartwig in Munich a month ago, there were galaxies in between. The service was good but together with the ambience it feels very stiff and outdated. Not to be compared with modern three star places. Really would have loved to give a more positive review because I appreciate Gordon Ramsay’s career. But I think if he had dined there with us, he might have had a similar opinion. For a 1000€ dinner just not the standard I’d expect. The positive: The fish and muscle dishes were exceptional and also the bread was surprisingly nice. The rest - as said - was okay. Tasty but not memorable.

An exceptional lunch and one of the best meals I've had in a long time. Every course was beautifully judged, with outstanding produce and real confidence in the cooking. The BBQ scallop with plum, caviar and rose was genuinely one of the finest dishes I've ever eaten, balanced beautifully. The Wagyu and dessert were equally memorable. Service was polished without being overbearing, and the whole experience was a joy from start to finish. I couldn't disagree more with some of the recent reviews for me, this was Michelin three-star dining at its very best.

We visited the restaurant last week to celebrate my parents' birthdays. As a lifelong fan of Gordon Ramsay who has been watching his shows since childhood, I arrived with immense expectations for a restaurant that has held 3 Michelin stars for so many years. We anticipated a truly unforgettable evening, but unfortunately, the excitement we arrived with quickly faded. There were a few bright spots: the reception was welcoming, the birthday gestures (a card and small cakes) were lovely, and the technical efficiency of the waitstaff was certainly noticeable. The Minestrone and the Sorbet from the Vegetarian Prestige Menu were excellent. But that is where it mostly ended. Regarding the food, much of the vegetarian menu felt overly "safe" and lacked the creativity expected at this level and price. The chocolate dessert was terribly heavy and generic, leaving a poor final impression. I must also note that my parents, who had the regular (meat) prestige menu, shared the exact same sentiment - the food is technically well-executed, but ultimately standard and uninspired. However, the main and most severe disappointment stemmed from the hospitality experience: 1. Communication & Explanations: The explanations of the dishes were rushed, impatient, and completely useless. We found ourselves not fully understanding what we were eating and had to rely almost entirely on the printed menu and AI tools. We have a language barrier and asked in advance for patience, but we didn't get it. 2. Seating Comfort: The table arrangement made leaving my seat practically impossible. The staff requested that we do not move our chairs ourselves, and getting up required a waiter to pull the entire table out. I felt completely trapped, which prevented me from even asking to use the washroom for the entire evening as it felt uncomfortable to ask. 3. Overbearing Staff Presence: Additionally, the waiters were constantly pacing back and forth between the tables a bit too much throughout the evening, which actually felt somewhat overbearing and intrusive. 4. Cold Treatment & Atmosphere: Throughout the evening, there was a glaring and jarring contrast between the warm, cordial service given to the tables around us and the cold, distant attitude we received, despite our explicit advance request for patience due to a language barrier. Seeing other diners receive exemplary hospitality while we received cold and intolerant treatment was unpleasant and unworthy of an establishment at this tier and price. In conclusion, a meal at this level is a significant investment. The technical execution is present, but the human warmth, physical comfort, and culinary inspiration are simply missing. For a fan who arrived full of anticipation, the combination of mediocre food and disrespectful treatment was highly frustrating and disappointing. It does not justify the reputation, and certainly not 3 stars.

This was an exceptional return to Restaurant Gordon Ramsey where we enjoyed stunning food and excellent service. Chef Kim Ratcharoen and her team produced amazing dishes inspired with touches of Asian flavours from Kim’s Thai background. Enrico and Silvia were so friendly and looked after us superbly all afternoon. We had the Menu Prestige that looked amazing on paper bur was incredible on the plate. A complimentary glass of bubbles started the day before a lovely surprise as Kim sent out a New dish for us to try and it was delicious. It was a Pea Hummus with flatbread. The menu then began with heavenly Morels and followed by the signature Lobster Ravioli. Then the amazing Turbot with a light touch of Thai curry. This led to our mains where we enjoyed the Pigeon and the Herdwick Lamb that came with an outstanding Lamb Cake. Before dessert Kim came out to see us which was lovely and while we were talking the desserts arrived. The Cremaux ( her take on a Ferrero Rocher) and a surprise yet stunning Lemon Soufflé. A coffee and Petit Fours ended a truly wonderful afternoon. On our way out we were able to visit the kitchen and personally thank the team. This was definitely one of our best visits to Restaurant Gordon Ramsey and hope it won’t be long before we return once more.
