Wilmslow town centre is a 15-minute walk away, lined with independent shops, designer boutiques and restaurants. The on-site tea room (open March to October, Thursday to Sunday) serves Cheshire produce with Caribbean influences, alongside coffee and cake. The hut itself sits among working farmland where badgers, foxes and hedgehogs are regular visitors.
Spruce is a single-bedroom shepherd's hut sleeping two, with an open-plan interior combining kitchen, living and sleeping areas on the ground floor. The bedroom has a double bed and smart TV; the ensuite is a walk-in shower and toilet. You get a two-ring hob, combi microwave-oven-grill, fridge, and everything needed to self-cater. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. Outside, a wood-fired hot tub sits in the front garden with seating and a barbecue.
One dog is welcome (kept on a lead, as this is a working farm). There is parking for two cars on site. The property is no-smoking throughout. Check-in is after 15:00, check-out before 10:00.
