Riverview Cottage

Riverview Cottage is a two-bedroom cottage on the River Weaver in Acton Bridge, within easy reach of several good reasons to visit the area. Delamere Forest, fifteen minutes away, has woodland trails and cycle routes. Chester Zoo, Beeston Castle and Peckforton Castle are all close by. Gulliver's World and BeWILDerwood lie thirty minutes' drive away, and Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet twenty-five minutes. A pub serving food stands less than a mile away.

The cottage sleeps four: two bedrooms contain a kingsize bed and a single with a pull-out single respectively. Downstairs, a living room with wood-burning stove opens to a kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave and washing machine. The kitchen has French doors on to a decking area. A shower room completes the ground floor. Electricity, wifi, bed linen and towels are provided, along with initial fuel for the stove. The back garden is enclosed and furnished with sitting-out space.

One dog is welcome at no extra cost. The cottage faces the road but has direct access to the river at the rear, where there is a private mooring. Smoking is not permitted.
